‘working to promote and protect the Exmoor Pony’

Welcome to our Website

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Exmoor National Park, the Exmoor Pony Centre is a small charity run business, owned by the Moorland Mousie Trust, working to promote and protect the endangered rare-breed Exmoor pony.

Come and visit our wonderful ponies, most of which were taken into our care when they had nowhere else to go and have benefited from the attention given by our devoted team of staff and volunteers. We can offer you the opportunity of getting close to an Exmoor Pony and pre-booked riding activities at the Centre or across the moors.

Donations, adopting a pony, joining our 100 club, volunteering or holding a fundraiser are just some of the ways you can help support us.

We receive no government funding and are grateful for every bit of help you can give towards the future of our native ponies.

The three peaks look much about the same, misty, windy, wet and cold but they battled through to earn some money for our charity. Donations are still coming in and you can still support them on their JustGiving pages on the links in the post below. Thank You.

Linzi Green , Maria Phillips , & Kestra French will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on 12th, 13th & 14th September without using a specialist company to guide and drive them. 06/08/2018 - UPDATE 05/09/2018

WELL DONE Sophie who completed her challenge! Sophie, who was escorted by her mother Cath (on a bike) roller-skated from Bath to Bristol, turned around and cycled back to Bath, turned around again and back to Bristol, then half way back to Bath and finished her last bit on her roller skates until she had completed a total of 50 miles! Such an inspiration to us all. Congratulations and Thank You.
There is still time to donate to her JustGiving page to support this lovely young girl.

Fundraiser -  11 year old Sophie adopts Abbi and has pledged to help Exmoor Ponies by taking up the challenge to roller-skate/cycle at least 50 miles over one weekend. We think this is a brilliant way of fundraising for our ponies and it would be wonderful if Sophie got as much support as possible. If you would like to donate to our young fundraiser and read her story please visit her JustGiving page. Thank You!
